Clay Pipe

This is a section of a clay pipe found in December 1990 in Leighton Buzzard cemetery. There is a detail image of the top of the pipe and if you mouse-over the image you can see a detail image of the symbol on the front of the pipe.

Information for a local resident says that in the 19th century. the Bishop family who resided in the Eagle pub in Billington Rd, Leighton Buzzard, made clay pipes.
