Welcome to the Leighton-Linslade Virtual Museum. Here we hope to
preserve images relating to the history of the town and provide
information on the changes that have taken place since its existence
was first recorded in 1086. As you move around the site you will
find a selection of items showing what life was like in Leighton
Buzzard and Linslade, including domestic and commercial artefacts,
information on prominent people and images of architecturally interesting
buildings. Use the floor plan to access the
galleries that are available so far.
The Museum is very much in its fledgling state, and the contents
has to some extent been dictated by the artefacts that were immediately
available to the Museum's virtual creators. If you would like to
contribute towards the content of the site or have any suggestions
as to how the Museum could be improved then we would be pleased
to hear from you. Our contact details are available in the Reception.
